Hotel Agistri is one of the eldest hotel units of the island, whose operation started at the early 70s. It is located in one of the most central points of the island, 30 meters from the central beach and 100 meters from the port of Scala.
A Relaxing Escape
It is one of the most eccentric buildings, in the center of Scala, next to the cafes, restaurants, mini markets, rentals, and the starting point of the bus, which takes you to the furthest and beautiful places of the island.
I loved the bed, it was super comfortable! I left the heavy curtains open, just closed the net ones, and the sun woke me up in the morning, just in time to photograph the sunrise over the sea. From the terrace on the second floor I also saw and photographed the sunset. The location is excellent, I chose not to make tea and coffee in the room, just below there is a super friendly and cosy cafe for all that. Konstantina, the receptionist, is very knowledgeable if it's your first visit (it wasn't, for me) and super helpful. Excellent all-round experience.
The hotel is located literally in the heart of Agkistri. All cafes, bars, restaurants are at your feet. The room was cozy and clean. the staff was super friendly and eager to recommend restaurants and must see locations
